Messe Stuttgart is the number one exhibition center in Baden-Württemberg. Every year it stages around 40 of its own events and 20 events organized by third parties, attracting 10,000 exhibitors and one million visitors. Since October 2007 the Landesmesse Stuttgart resides at the new site at Stuttgart airport, comprising 100,000 m² of hall space, and an international conference center (ICS), with seating capacity of more than 9,000. The additional space will benefit Stuttgart trade shows such as R+T, AMB and CMT, providing them with much needed room for expansion. In the longer term, Stuttgart aims to raise its international profile, particularly by staging technology-driven shows.
