Technology-Transfer-Center Lampoldshausen, Hardthausen
The Technology-Transfer-Center Lampoldshausen deals with different issues in the aerospace field. With the establishment of the TTC the DLR (German Aerospace Center) created an effective way for a fast implementation of research results into common success with partner companies. The forms of cooperation within the TTC are versatile. The DLR is a partner, an initiator and a competent problem solver for technological issues. At present in Lampoldshausen works are at the engines of tomorrow - e.g. the VULCAIN 2 engine for ARIANE 5 - as well as at technologies of the future. Competences include design and construction of large scale processing plants with a focus on vacuum and high pressure systems or precision measurement technology for pressure, temperature, concentration and velocity.
