The regional competence network of OptecNet Deutschland e.V. for the state of Baden-Württemberg brings together the most important research facilities: the Institut für Lasertechnologien in der Medizin- und Messtechnik (Institute for Laser Technologies in Medical and Measurement Technology) at the University of Ulm, the Fraunhofer IPM in Freiburg and the state's universities and applied science universities.
