As one of the leading industrial regions in Europe, Baden-Württemberg also has a broad services spectrum. Around 45,000 companies in the state provide high-value services, especially for business and industry – for example, in the areas of business and finance, technical consulting, but also in industries such as tourism and hospitality. The sector produces around 27 billion euros per year in the German southwest.
