Fair Freiburg

With its modern infrastructure, the functional equipment and an appealing atmosphere, the Freiburg fair is the ideal place for trade fairs and congress fairs, exhibitions, concerts, TV shows, sports events and major events.

Approximately 35 events with more than 500,000 visitors take place annually on 21,500 m² of hall space with ten conference rooms as well as 81,000 m² of open-air exhibition ground. The Freiburg fair offers all advantages of a modern fair location together with the charm of a live university city whose unique joy of living is proverbial.

With the hall complex in Freiburg that was opened in 2000 and enlarged by the Rothaus Arena in 2006, the more than 40 years of experience of the Freiburg fair is combined with personality, charm and state-of-the-art technology of a modern fair installation. More than 500,000 people annually visit the approximately 35 fairs, exhibitions and events on the exhibition grounds. The program is characterised by fairs and exhibitions which for years have been established on the market. This includes the big consumer exhibitions with up to 90,000 visitors, the camping, leisure time and tourism fair, the automobile fair, the model building fair, the two used car shows as well as the industry and electronics trade fair.

The international "flagship" of the Freiburg fair still is the "Interbrush" world fair. This has established as an international trade fair of the brush and paintbrush industry in Freiburg and is held every four years in the spring with more than 200 exhibitory companies and more than 7,000 specialists from 85 countries.

Furthermore, the Freiburg fair offers 10 conference rooms with a total of 1,320 m² for up to 1,676 persons. Eight of them are combinable up to a size of 800 m² and six are equipped with induction loops.

Besides the internal developments, the exhibition grounds are also interesting for guest organisers who rent the facilities of the Freiburg fair. Further, there is potential for big events, in particular with the modern event hall Rothaus Arena with a capacity of up to 9,000 visitors: Whether TV shows like "Wetten dass..?" and "Verstehen Sie Spaß?", concerts and musicals or sports events like the Freiburg Marathon.
